“I wanted to be a volunteer at CHRISTUS Spohn-Shoreline because this facility offers great opportunities to learn about all the different aspects of the health profession, from emergency to dialysis. I can stay at one hospital and experience all the different medical specialties.

“The thing I enjoy the most about volunteering here is that I get to experience the health field from a different perspective.

“In the future, I want to become a doctor that patients come back to and respect. This volunteering experience has taught me what patients want their caregivers to be like and this will help me when I become a doctor (hopefully I do).”
