Charitable giving helps all South Texans

The CHRISTUS Spohn Health System Foundation hosted its ninth annual Donor Recognition Reception on Feb. 25 at the Corpus Christi Yacht Club.

The reception serves as a celebration for donors who have left a lasting legacy of health care through annual and cumulative giving to the foundation.

Frank P. Horlock Jr., Gus T. Canales, Stephen “Tio” J. Kleberg and Bill Colston Jr. were the guests of honor and were recognized for their charitable contributions to CHRISTUS Spohn through the South Texas Charity Weekend.

Speakers included Pamela S. Robertson, president and CEO of CHRISTUS Spohn, and Karen Bonner, vice president for philanthropy of the CHRISTUS Spohn Foundation.
